Latest news - Meeting on Children's human rights situation in oPT -22/01/25 @ 17.00-18.30 - Delegation for relations with Palestine
The next meeing of the DPAL will take place on Wednesday, 22 January 2025, at 17.00-18.30 in Strasbourg (room CHURCHILL 200).
The main topic of discussion will be an exchange of views on the situation of children's human rights in the occupied Palestinian Territories with:
- Ms Julia Dicum, UNRWA Director of Education
- Mr Khaled Quzmar, General Director of Defense for Children International, Palestine
- Mr Benoit Van Keirsbilck, Member of the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child
- A representative from Save the Children (tbc)
Meeting documents will be available on the EP Delegations webpage via eMeeting (intranet and internet).
The meeting will be web-streamed through the European Parliament's Multimedia Centre. Interpretation services will be available in English, French, Italian, and Spanish.
