  1. In the week of 7 July, Members' work is centred on Parliament's plenary sitting, and Committees meet only in exceptional cases. During this week, the Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development will vote on the own-initiative report on the future of agriculture and the post-2027 CAP. The report calls for a more competitive and resilient model, a competitive and sustainable agriculture, and for support for farmers facing rising production costs.   2. On Wednesday, 9 July 2025, 15.00-16.30, the DCAB delegation will hold an ordinary meeting in Strasbourg (room: CHURCHILL 200).

    The two main points of the agendawill be:

    • Exchange of views with H.E Senator the Honourable Kamina Johnson Smith, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of Jamaica, following the on the 49th Regular Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) from 6-8 July 2025 in Montego Bay (Jamaica)

    • Exchange of views on Jamaica's perspective of the Caribbean-EU Partnership: prospects and challenges under the Samoa Agreement in the presence of: Duccio Bandini, Deputy Head of Division for Mexico, Central America and Caribbean, EEAS

  3. The next ordinary meeting of the Delegation for relations with Australia and New Zealand (DANZ) will take place on Thursday, 3 July 2025 at 13h00 in Brussels.

    It will be a preparatory meeting for the forthcoming 29th EU-New Zealand Inter-Parliamentary Meeting (IPM) scheduled on 21-23 July in New Zealand with an exchange of views with H.E. Mr Simon Draper, Head of mission and Ambassador of New Zealand to the EU and NATO and Mr Roland Honekamp, Deputy Head of Division for Japan, Korea, Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific, EEAS.

  4. At the meeting of the Delegation for relations with the NATO Parliamentary Assembly (DNAT) Members elected the following Vice-Chairs: Vasile DÎNCU, First Vice-Chair (S&D, Romania) and Alexandr VONDRA, Second Vice-Chair (ECR, Czechia).

  5. The next meeting of the Delegation to the EU-Mexico Joint Parliamentary Committee (D-MX) is scheduled for:

    Wednesday, 9 July 2025, 17.30-19.00

    Room: WEISS S4.5 (Strasbourg)

    The main item on the agenda is an "Exchange of views on the cooperation in fighting against transnational crime and drug trafficking".

    Please note that this meeting will not be webstreamed due to limited resources.
