Latest news - 18-22 November: work in Parliamentary Committees
In the week of 18 November, a large part of Members' work this week will be in Parliamentary Committees. Important votes, structured dialogues and exchanges of views will take place.
Among the highlights of the week, the Commissioner for Neighbourhood and Enlargement, Olivér Várhelyi, will present the 2024 enlargement package to the Members of the AFET Committee and the FISC committee will hold an exchange of views with the UN, the OECD and the Commission on the Future of European and International Tax Policy.
Foreign Affairs: Commission to present 2024 Enlargement package - assessing accession process
Budgets: Vote on the assessment on the Regional Emergency Support to Reconstruction (RESTORE)
Budgetary Control: Partial renewal of the Court of Auditors – BG nominee
Tax Matters: Exchange of views with the UN, the OECD and the Commission on the Future of European and International Tax Policy
Employment and Social Affairs: Public Hearing on Loneliness in the European Union
Transport and Tourism: Public Hearing on Passenger Rights: Strengthening enforcement and improving multimodal journeys through new rights
Agriculture and Rural Development: Exchanges of views on various topical issues

Latest news - 27 November 2024 - Ordinary and Bureau meetings - Delegation for relations with the Pan-African Parliament
On Wednesday, 27 November 2024, the DPAP delegation will hold the following meetings in Strasbourg (room: WEISS S4.4):
- Bureau meeting - from 16:00 to 16:30 (in camera meeting, only for DPAP Bureau members)
- Ordinary meeting - from 16:30 to 17:30 (open to all DPAP members)

Latest news - Meeting of Wednesday 27 November 2024, Strasbourg - Delegation for relations with the Maghreb countries and the Arab Maghreb Union, including the EU-Morocco, EU-Tunisia and EU-Algeria Joint Parliamentary Committees
The Delegation will hold an exchange of views:- on the situation in Libya and the EU-Libya relations, with H.E. Mr Nicola Orlando, Head of the EU Delegation in Libya
